Welcome to My Digital Space

I’m Cassandra Lopez Fradera, also known as Cass. This space is more than just a platform—it’s a tool for connection. Whether you’re exploring my work as a communications consultant or seeking inspiration, my goal is to build meaningful relationships, including with friends I’ve yet to meet.

My journey into public communications began as the host of Café con Cass, a Cambridge Community Television show I launched while pursuing my Master’s in Journalism at Harvard University. With a deep interest in merging the art and science of communication, I entered higher education to explore how research could transform storytelling.

In 2017, I founded my own consulting practice, focusing on a holistic approach that balances strategy and design. My concept of “harmonious design” reflects a participatory, client-centered process that values collaboration over individualism. This framework drives my work with clients, blending analysis with tools like teach-ins, communication audits, graphic design, and narrative development. Whether conducting interviews, assessments, or workshops, I focus on helping individuals and organizations uncover the heart of their message.

When I’m not working, I’m likely out with my service dog or training my adventurous indoor/outdoor cat to join us on outings. I find inspiration in nature—listening to trees, gathering in circles with diverse communities, and grounding myself in the wisdom of the earth. My personal experiences deeply inform my practice. As a neurodivergent, mixed-race Indigenous woman, I approach my work with curiosity, adaptability, and an awareness of diverse access needs, which broadens my ability to connect with clients across cultures and geographies.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with youth organizations, political candidates, grassroots organizers, and movements focused on environmental sustainability, labor, science, healing, and disability justice across the Americas and Caribbean. My work transcends borders, fostering a world where technology and communication empower us to stay grounded and connected to essentials like clean water and community well-being.

At the core of my mission is the belief in a world where dignity and respect for all are not just ideals but realities. By collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations invested in transformational change, I aim to build bridges that lead us closer to that vision.
